Finding a starting point is my starting point!
I needed a place to rant and ramble, so instead of (really, in addition to) spouting off completely random things to my co-workers, I'll try to include some of them here.
I'm in charge of Research at The Judgment Group. Research largely entails finding a starting point... once you've done that, everything else connects itself (usually). But, that first day of school is hard. The first performance is scary, and the first failure feels horrible!
After that, it's cake... so, right now I can't decide on a picture to use for my blog (Maybe I've chosen one by the time you read this), and I didn't know what to put in my first blog post either (clearly).
One of the scariest things, I think, is the prospect of starting over. But in reality, we fail, and at times we have to recognize we've hit a dead end, and we need to just start over. And then, you have to find another starting point, the anxiety of being able to pull of something else for the first time ever.
All of this to say, I've created a blog, and "Starting" anything is naturally scary, but necessary for success.
